No excuses now . . .

This past week, I ordered the last of my 'big' stuff.  Once my tent arrives, I'll be all set to go wander in the wilderness.  And by wilderness, I mean clearly marked and highly traveled hiking trails.  =D  Here's what I just got: Marmot sleeping bag, Easton poles, and the highly-anticipated Tarptent (made in California!).

Well, I've definitely done all the prep I can do by shopping; it's time to hit the trails, now.  I'm taking out a fairly full pack today on an 8-mile trail.  We'll see if I survive!

P.S. Just remembered I don't have rain gear . . . wonder how many things I'll keep thinking of.  =P
